Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

In short

  • We use one sign-in cookie and some browser storage, only to keep you signed in and save your work.
  • No advertising cookies, no tracking across other sites, and no analytics cookies today.
  • Payment providers may set their own cookies during checkout.
  • Signing out, or clearing your browser’s site data, removes ours.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way. Both let a site remember things between pages and visits.

2.What we use

We use only what is needed to run the Service. We don’t use advertising cookies, we don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t currently use analytics cookies.

Tutor Genie keeps the parent PIN only in the page’s memory while the parent area is open. It is never saved in a cookie or in browser storage.

3.Other companies’ cookies

  • Payments: when you pay, Razorpay’s or Stripe’s checkout opens and may set its own cookies to process the payment safely and prevent fraud. Their cookie policies apply.
  • Fonts: some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to send the font file.
  • Business websites: a business that builds its site on Shukto may add its own tools. That business is responsible for them.

5.How to control them

  • Signing out removes the sign-in cookie and the sign-in details in local storage.
  • You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block them, you won’t be able to sign in.
  • Using a private or incognito window removes everything when you close it.

6.Questions

For questions about cookies, write to [privacy email address]. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
